Yale Club of Sacramento Presents Robotics Professor Brian Scassellati Saturday, April 15, 2023

The Yale Club of Sacramento invited members to spend a morning with Dr. Brian Scassellati, Yale Professor of computer science, cognitive science, and mechanical engineering and the newly admitted members of the Yale College Class of 2027. Dr. Scassellati’s talk was sponsored by the YAA-Redpath Speakers Program.

Dr. Scassellati is also the Director of the NSF Expedition on Socially Assistive Robotics. His research focuses on building embodied computational models of human social behavior, especially the developmental progression of early social skills. His interests include humanoid robots, human-robot interaction, artificial intelligence, machine perception, and social learning.


We invited the newly admitted Class of 2027 and their families to attend this event, and to welcomed them to the Yale community.
